Clackamas County Arts Alliance

"I am a Western Shoshone Indian woman originally from Northern Nevada, but I also grew up in Clackamas County the later part of my childhood. However, in my later 20s I found myself back on my reservation and was able to see it from a very different perspective. I have found photography a way to capture the raw beauty of “Indian Country” and a new found appreciation of my people and the land that still holds the untamed Native spirit."

Nicolette Hume's breathtaking photography is on display now through January 10, 2019 in theClackamas County, Oregon's Development Services Building - Entry Gallery.
